3 fast potato side dishes

Grove Avocado Oil has a mild flavour and is the perfect way to boost the nutrition of your potato dishes.

Mashed potato – butter be gone!

Simply swapping out butter for Grove Avocado Oil is an easy way to get more beneficial fats into your family’s meals. Simply add 2-3 tablespoons of Grove Avocado Oil along with warm milk when mashing your potatoes, and season to your taste.

Truly crunchy roast potatoes

With it’s very high smoke point, Grove Avocado Oil is perfect for baking and can give your potatos the crisp and crunch you love!

Simply par-boil your potatoes (place in cold water, and bring to the boil. Boil for 4-8 mins depending on the size of your potatoes). Drain and cool, then rough up the outside of the potatoes with a fork, or toss around in a colander. Brush, drizzle or rub the potatoes with Grove Avocado Oil and season with sea salt.

Bake in a hot oven (220 degrees celcius) for 50-60 minutes, turning occasionally. For extra crunch, you can scatter 2 tablespoons of semolina over the potatoes after roughing up, before adding Grove Avocado Oil.

Healthy Potato Chips

Lift the nutrition of your chips with this simple recipe!

Cut large potatoes or sweet potato into strips or wedges. Place in a large bowl and drizzle over 2 tablespoons of Grove Avocado Oil. Toss to coat, lay on a lined baking tray and season to your taste. Bake for 40 minutes at 200 degrees, checking and turning a few times.
